To locate treatment programs authorized to treat opioid addiction with Buprenorphine, go to the treatment facility locator, enter an address, and then use the Find Facility box Service section: click in the Substance Abuse (SA) box. From the drop-down list that appears, select "Buprenorphine used in treatment" under Type of Care. Please note that treatment programs are authorized under 21 U.S.C. Section 823 (g)(1) to dispense (but not prescribe) opioid treatment medications. Treatment programs registered under 21 U.S.C. Section 823 (g)(1) are not subject to patient limits.
